This time, I would like to share my first experience stepping my foot in Madinah Al Munawwarah & Mekah Al Mukarramah in March 2011... It's a very different feelings and for the first time in my life I find myself...
It's a feeling that nobody can describe unless you been there yourself...
From Jeddah, I went straight to Medinah al Munawwarah. I still remember clearly my first time when I visited Rasullullah saw grave, I felt so sad but happy... Sad thinking all the sins that I have committed and felt I had let him down... but happy because he still grant me a chance to visit him and repent... It's so calm and memorable experience...
After 4 days, I'm get myself ready for my first Umrah...
The six hours journey felt like days as I'm so anxious to be in Masjidil Haram...
I finally reach there after Isya prayers and I simply could not describe my feeling when the first time seeing Kaabah right in front of my eye... all this while I always saw the photos but now, right here in front of me... The feeling of peace, excited, humble, sad, happy etc... And for the first time too I really felt closer to Allah swt.
For the next nine days in Mekah, I spend most of my time in Masjidil Haram and alhamdulillah managed to complete 8 umrah during that period... Even though it is only 9 days, but the experience worth more than my lifetime... The last day when I did tawaf wida, was the saddest moment I ever felt and from there on, I've decided to visit again whenever opportunity arises... I've seen and been there...my next step is to share what I felt with my wife...
