Personality Plus

One of my favourite book on human character is 'Personality Plus' by Florence Littuer...

The book basically teach us about how to know and understand human character.... from there it will help us better in dealing with people of each character... this is good in husband and wife relationship, parents with children, employee with bosses or colleague, sales person with customers, friends, relatives etc etc...

How to start? You need to do the test from the questionnaire provided... from there you will mark your answer against the character and once completed, you will know your own character... for those reading the book before, they can confirm whether it's true or false by looking at your character...

Best remember as

Popular Sanguines are best:

  • In dealing with people enthusiastically
  • In expressing thoughts with excitement
  • In up-front positions of attention

Perfect Melancholies are best:

  • In attending to details and in deep thinking
  • In keeping records, charts and graphs
  • In analyzing problems too difficult for others

Powerful Cholerics are best:

  • In jobs that require quick decisions
  • In spots that need instant action and accomplishments
  • In areas that demand strong control and authority

Peaceful Phlegmatics are best:

  • In positions of mediation and unity
  • In storms that need a calming hand
  • In routine that might seem dull to others

In conclusion God make each one of us different, so we could function in our own role just like human body.

God make some of us to be:

Feet: to move, to administer, to accomplish just like Powerful Choleric.

Mind: to think deeply, to feel, to write like Perfect Melancholy

Hand: to serve, to smooth, and to soothe like Peaceful Phlegmatic

Mouth: to talk, to teach, to encourage like Popular Sanguine

If God could have made us all

Popular Sanguine: We would have lots of fun but accomplish little.

Perfect Melancholy: We would have been organized and charted but not very cheerful.

Powerful Choleric: We would have been all set to lead, but impatient that no one would follow.

Peaceful Phlegmatic: We would have a peaceful world but not much enthusiasm for life.

We need each temperament for the total function of the body. Each part should do its work to unify the action and produce harmonious results.

Have fun reading the book...
