HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED
Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, 'You're next.' They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

What had happened to Media Pusaka Bangsa?

What had happened to Pemuda UMNO (media pusaka bangsa) blog?

They had been resting since July 2008... is this another 'hangat hangat taik ayam' project? Or couldn't take the bashing there through comment by fellow bloggers? or too busy with personal agenda i.e. UMNO election?

When they realised they need to reach voters more through blogging, they join in... but what happened a couple of months after that? How do you expect us the bloggers to decide properly on our votes when we only get one side of story? Where is the mission 'to answer all bias report'?

Others are consistantly posting their thoughts but Pemuda UMNO stay unrelevant and unreachable by 'resting' for a couple of months (or maybe till next general election)... sigh... Are they sending signal that what we read in the blog is right? to the extent they could no longer answer or giving their side of story? as much as I would like to be 'independent' but they are not feeding us with respectable & intelligent info for them to counter whatever against them... how do you expect us to act then?

I dread to think what will happen to 'Warkah untuk Pak Lah' and Najib's '1malaysia' web in a couple of months time...

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK)

What a joke! Melaka Government bestowing Datukship to him...

What have he done to deserve such award? According to CM (Ali Rustam), because he acted in a few movies in Melaka... hahahaha... typical UMNO leaders giving such a stupid reasons for us Malaysian to stomach!!! To fellow UMNO members, is this kind of leader you want to lead you to greater heights? Hahahaha.. these kind of leaders are the ones that bring UMNO's downfall...

Back to SRK, I don't think SRK is the one choosing the location... he's just a lead actor... in film production, there are many parties involve in determining the suitable locations and mostly lies with Director & Producers... who in return will also look at the sponsorship etc... Is SRK was one of it for all 6 films as claimed by CM? Hell NO!!! Then how do justify that? Mr CM? Even if you're right... then Sean Connery, Catherine Zeta Jones etc should be given same award for their role in Entrapment... plus many others like Anna & The King etc... It's sad to see leaders are blinded with their own personal agenda over the bigger picture...

What about other Malaysian that did well? Quite a number of them were not even awarded Datukship... some personality awarded earlier had gone missing like Datuk Azhar Mansor etc? So who deserve the real award actually? One time contributor over continuous contributor? There are many other deserving Malaysian been ignored... why? because they are not politician and do not have enough money... the award lately has became an exclusivity of certain people in the community to the extent the normal Malaysian has no more high regards to those carrying such title...these are the ones that pissed off normal Malaysian on the street... listen to us more to stay relevant mr CM...

Pak Lah

Finally..... after long wait and speculations... our PM, Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announce that he will step down next March... Thanks Pak Lah for being sensitive and put national interest above all...

I'm not incline to any party, be it PR or BN, even though most UMNO leaders really pissed me off with their greed and arrogant in the last couple of years... what I'm writing here is solely based on normal 'man on street' and non partisan Malaysian...

Going back to Pak Lah... as a person, I love him and admire him... he is a good person & administrator. BUT the bucks stop there... your down fall is your own family members and your short sighted thinking... you are not PM material that we expect... your leadership is always questionable and your overly trust to your 'General' rather than going down to grass root to hear for yourself is another factor...

Anyway, I do not wish to dwell further on this... I would rather look forward and hope for better... The main reason I'm writing here is just to say thanks to Pak Lah for listening to majority Malaysian wishes...

I do respect your decision and wish you happy retirement...

Jam.. Jam.. Jam...

Finally... after long week raya break... most people are rushing back to start working today...

I was one of anak rantau that went back to my hometown in Kedah to celebrate raya... it was good and enjoyable week until last saturday when I was on my way back to KL...

Never in my driving history to and from Kedah that took me more than 6 hours to reach my destination on paid highway... I was one of thousands that stuck in the bad jam from Gunung Semanggol right up to Jelapang Tol... that's more than 60km long!!!

What saddened me (other than those que jumping) is PLUS did nothing about it... where all the sweet talk of problem solving and plans etc? where is the contra flow promised? what improvement done at toll booth? this is the problem when you let them be the monopoly... they don't care less about all this because you like it or not, you still use their highway...

Suddenly news are no where to be seen, no more comments from PLUS nor minister's concerned!! What are we Malaysian going to do about it? this problem had been going in for too long without any concrete solutions, and I wonder why?

What bothering me is... why in the hell you need to have a break in toll? i.e. why there must be toll booth in Ipoh Selatan & Jelapang? why can' the governnment do away with it and built toll booth at respective exits like others? Traffic are all smooth from Ipoh Selatan to KL all the way... hence, the culpit every year is those two tolls... anybody care to explain? i've written years ago to minister concerned and as expected, you will never receive any reply...

What are we Malaysian gonna do about it?

Eliminate Demotivators From Your Life By Tom Hopkins

If you're one of the millions of people who never seem to get what they really want in life, the reason may be a few simple attitudes you have acquired that I call demotivators. In my experience training thousands of professional salespeople, I've found four common demotivators that we must overcome to attain our goals.

The first demotivator is the fear of losing our security. We are so afraid of losing the security we have that we won't give it up to get the greater security we seek. I truly believe that there is no such thing as security other than the security we build within ourselves. We are only secure to
the extent of our ability to cope with the struggle called living, and we cannot be more secure than our capabilities of handling insecurity allow us to be. This means we have to give up what we have, to get what we want. If we refuse to give up anything, where will the space, time, money, and energy for new achievements come from?

The second demotivator is fear of failure. How many times have you refused to try something because you were afraid you'd fail? Isn't it sad how many of us doom ourselves to mediocre lives rather than accept the momentary rejections that success demands? We must challenge our fears and conquer each fear forever. Soon, you will find that every time you conquer a fear,
the easier it will be to beat the next one. Remember: Do what you fear most and you will control that fear.

The third demotivator is self-doubt. When we're gripped by negative conviction, we believe everything we do will be wrong. When you're thinking like this, it is likely that everything we do fails, and ultimately, we fail. Instead of looking at what you did wrong, look at what you did right.
Keep an up attitude, overcome rejection, and keep trying. Soon, you'll start to win. The wins will start to pile up until they smother all self-doubts under a mountain of positive conviction.

The fourth demotivator is the pain of change. We resist change because it means that part of our old self must die, and a self that is unknown to us is born. We mourn the loss of the familiar as we labor through the birth of the new. To overcome this attitude, we should make a habit of trying new things when we don't have to so we can keep the best of the old in our lives as a strong emotional foundation. Remember, there is an element of pain in all change, but those you put into motion yourself are far less painful than ones thrown at you by others.

Today's Story - The Dachshund and the Leopard

A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dachshund along for company.

One day the dachshund started chasing butterflies and before long the dachshund discovered that he was lost. While wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch. The dachshund thinks,

"Okay, I'm in deep trouble now!"

Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dachshund exclaims loudly,

"Boy, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here?"

Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror! comes over him, and slinks away into the trees.

"Whew," says the leopard. "That was close. That dachshund nearly had me."

Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes, but the dachshund saw him heading after the leopard with great speed and figured that something must be up.

The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says,

"Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine."

Now the dachshund sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back, and thinks,

"What am I going to do now?"

But instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them and just when they get close enough to hear, the dachshund says,

"Where is that monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard."

If you can't out run them, out wit them.

Just a weeeeeee bit

An extraordinarily handsome man decided he had the responsibility to marry the perfect woman so they could produce beautiful children beyond compare.

With that as his mission he began searching for the perfect woman.

Shortly there after he met a farmer who had three stunning, gorgeous daughters that positively took his breath away. So he explained his mission to the farmer, asking for permission to marry one of them.

The farmer simply replied, 'They're lookin' to get married, so you came to the right place. Look 'em over and pick the one you want.'

The man dated the first daughter.
The next day the farmer asked for the man's opinion.

'Well,' said the man, 'she's just a weeeeee bit, not that you can hardly notice...pigeon-toed.'

The farmer nodded and suggested the man date one of the other girls; so the man went out with the second daughter.

The next day, the farmer again asked how things went.

'Well,'the man replied, 'she's just a weeeeee bit, not that you can hardly tell... cross-eyed.'

The farmer nodded and suggested he date the third girl to see if things might be better. So he did.

The next morning the man rushed in exclaiming,

'She's perfect, just perfect. She's the one I want to marry'

So they were wed right away. Months later the baby was born. When the man visited the nursery he was horrified: the baby was the ugliest, most pathetic human you can imagine. He rushed to his father in law asking how such a thing could happen considering the beauty of the parents.

'Well', explained the farmer, 'She was just a weeee bit, not that you could hardly tell... pregnant when you met her.
